UPDATE - The Cats Have Been Named . . .

Breaking news out of the Great Plains States today . . .

Wichita, Kas. - September 10, 2008 - Joy and Sean Amore today, in a rare showing of quick decision making and not over thinking things, announced the formal naming of their two newly-adopted-and-to-be-named-cats at a press conference earlier this morning.
Less than 24 hours after taking parental duties and responsibilities for the cats, the Amore family announced Franklin and Eleanor (with a reference to "The Roosevelts" when speaking of the cats collectively) the official names for the short-haired domestic mutt cats.

"I've always been particularly fond of the Roosevelts and all they, as a couple, did for this nation," said Sean. "I was a little nervous to approach Joy with the names but she really liked the idea and thought it was a great way to keep the number of 'flaming liberals' in Kansas growing."

Ava was pleased as well.

"I wike Fwan-kin and Ele-nur. They koot," she explained at a press conference held at the family's home.
Joy added that the cats will likely be identified almost as exclusively as The Roosevelts, Frank and Ele as the family has no need to be overly formal with people and things that they love.
